Introducing Reservation Approvals
Maptician now supports a full Reservation Approvals workflow, allowing organizations to require approval before a reservation is confirmed. Approvals can be configured at the individual resource level for rooms and seats, or set as a location-wide fallback for any resource that does not have its own approvers assigned.

When a reservation requires approval, a tentative placeholder event holds the time slot on the resource's external calendar while the request is under review. Approvers are notified by email and can approve, deny, or propose an alternate resource directly from the Resource Approvals page, the Pending Approvals dashboard widget, or via a one-click link in the notification email.

Requesters and approvers can also exchange notes on each pending request through a per-reservation Approval Notes thread, keeping all context in one place.
The following new surfaces support the approvals workflow:
- Resource Approvals page: A full-page interface for approvers to triage pending requests, with live updates, grouped recurring series, and denial reason tracking. Available under the Home menu for any designated approver.
- Pending Approvals widget: A dashboard widget for approvers to review and act on pending requests at a glance.
- My Approval Status widget: A dashboard widget for requesters to track the status of their pending reservations, with inline Accept and Reject controls when an alternate resource has been proposed.


Three new reports are also available under the Reports section: Pending Resource Approvals, Pending Approvals by Resource, and Resource Denials.
New Reservation Details Dialog
A new Reservation Details dialog is now available, giving you a comprehensive view of any existing reservation in one place. You can access it by selecting the View option in Finder, clicking on a reservation in Calendar, clicking a reservation title in My Reservations, or anywhere else in the application where a reservation title appears as a link.


The dialog displays the reservation title, resource name and location, date and time, attendee count, and a Print button. Details are organized across the following tabs:
- General: Displays the calendar entry (including any setup and clean-up buffer times), a link to the current location calendar, the reservation message, owner details, and reservation information.
- Attendees: Lists all attendees included in the reservation.
- Locations: Lists all resources and locations tied to the reservation.
- Services: Lists any services attached to the reservation.
- Video Conference: Appears when an online meeting provider (Zoom, Teams, or Webex) is enabled. Displays join and host links, meeting details, and provider configuration.

The Print button opens a print preview where you can select which sections to include before opening your browser's print view.

New Dashboard Settings & Drag-and-Drop Widgets
A new dashboard settings modal lets you manage which widgets are visible and configure your preferences in one place. Widgets have also been refreshed with a modernized design and improved visual organization, along with better keyboard navigation and accessibility support.
Your dashboard now supports drag-and-drop widget reordering, making it easier to organize your workspace to fit how you work. Simply click the Arrange Dashboard button that appears only on the dashboard screens, then drag any widget to rearrange your layout.

General Reporting Updates
The Room Name filter across all room reservation reports now matches on room ID rather than room name, ensuring accurate results when multiple rooms share similar names. This affects the Room Reservation Log, Department Room Reservation Log, My Delegated Room Reservations, Room Reservation Activity, Room Activity Status, Room Setup Worksheet, and Video Conference Reservations reports.
The Projected Occupants and Projected Occupancy Detail reports have been combined into a single Projected Occupancy Details report. The updated report includes a new Seat column with map navigation links and a drilldown modal for viewing and navigating to assigned or reserved seats for any occupant.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue in My Tasks where the "Assign to Responder" picker displayed blank whitespace below the list, making it appear shorter than it was and obscuring scrollable content.
