Maptician Mobile - Redesigned for the Modern Workplace

The Maptician mobile app has been redesigned from the ground up. Navigation is simpler, search is smarter, and the new Finder tab brings your map, resources, and reservations together in one place, making it faster to find a room, book a seat, or check who is in the office.

This release also introduces Favorites on mobile, an improved People directory with presence and scheduling filters, and Quick Reserve for instant bookings without the extra steps. For a full walkthrough of the updated app, see the Mobile App Guide.

Expanded Zoom Integration Settings and Meeting Controls

A new Zoom Settings section has been added to Maptician Settings with expanded configuration options. Administrators can now:

• Send cancellation emails to the Zoom meeting organizer when meetings are canceled
• Include SIP join details in Zoom reservation emails
• Include one-tap mobile dial-in numbers in Zoom reservation emails
• Configure audio options for Zoom meetings
• Allow participants to join before the host for a configurable time window prior to the meeting

Expanded Visitor Management Settings at the Location Level

Location Settings now include additional Visitor Management controls, allowing organizations to:

• Added Recipient Email Addresses section to configure notify non-Maptician users when visitors check in via signage or the Visitor Management page for that location
• Ability to Disable Photo Requests to prevent automated SMS photo requests after visitor/visit creation
• A Disable QR Codes setting was also added, which will disable QR codes from being sent in email and SMS notifications. This update also removes the “Check In via QR Code” option from visitor signage
• Access Badge Printing settings are now consolidated under the new Visitor Management section

Updates made to “My Reservation Notifications” report

You can now filter the “My Reservation Notification” report by Location before running the report, including support for an All Locations option. The report also introduces a new Location column and corresponding filter for better visibility, and the Notifications List column has been renamed to Service Request List for improved clarity.

Asset Features Configuration and Map Editor Assignment

Added support for Asset Features configuration and assignment. Admins can now configure an Asset Features list in Organization Settings, and users with Map Editing permissions can assign those features to assets directly within the Map Editor.

Bug Fixes

• Improved responsiveness on the Home > My Tasks page for tablet and iPad screen sizes.
• Fixed a typo in the Confirm Cancellation reservation popup in the mobile app.
• Resolved an issue where the bottom navigation bar edges in the Maptician mobile app did not display correctly on certain mobile devices.
