We are excited to announce a series of updates to Visitor Management designed to make managing your visitors smoother, faster, and more personalized. From a refreshed interface to new ways of communicating with visitors, these enhancements aim to improve your day-to-day experience while providing your guests with a seamless check-in and visit process.

Create & Edit Popup Updates

The Create and Edit Visit pop-up has been completely redesigned for a cleaner, more modern look while keeping the same familiar flow you are used to. This update makes it easier to add or update visitor details quickly without changing your current process.

Add a Visitor Profile Image

You can now upload a profile image for visitors, adding a personal touch and making it easier to identify visitors during their visit.

Ability to add a Visitor's Phone Number

We have added a new optional phone number field to a visitor's profile, allowing you to include a contact number while creating or editing a visit. Currently, only U.S. and Canadian phone numbers are supported.  

Note: Editing a visitor’s phone number and image directly from the Manage Visitors screen will be available in a future update.

Send a Text Message to a Visitor

For visitors with a cell phone number configured, you can now send text messages directly from Maptician through the Manage Visitors screen. Select a visitor, click the SMS Messaging button, and a side panel will display the message history between your team and the visitor for quick reference and seamless communication.

Print Visitor Badges

You can now print visitor badges directly from Maptician to enhance your visitor check-in process. Once your badge printer's settings are configured, you can easily print a badge for a visitor from the Manage Visits screen.
