How do I send registration emails?

How to send registration emails to employees in bulk or to select occupant(s).

When triggered, registration emails are sent to the selected occupant(s). These emails allow employees to create a password and access your Maptician environment. Please note that if your organization has SSO login enabled, you should not send registration emails to your employees. 


Registration emails can be sent to all employees within the organization at once or sent only to select occupants. To select all occupants, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Occupants tab. 
  2. On the Manage Occupants main page, click the Select All button. This highlights the checkboxes to the left of all occupants' names in blue.

To select specific occupants, you have several options. You can:

  • Search for each occupant one at a time, and select the checkbox to the left of their name.
  • Scroll through your list of occupants and select multiple occupants by holding the CTRL key on your keyboard and clicking the checkbox to the left of each occupant's name.
  • Filter your employee list by Employee Type, Permission Group, Location or Department. Once the list has been filtered, click the Select All button to select only the group of occupants specified.

Once all desired occupants are selected, send the registration email. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Towards the top right corner, click Occupant Management.
  2. From the drop-down menu that appears, select Send Registration Email.
  3. Confirm that the number of occupants to receive the email is accurate then click Send (x) registration emails.
