From there, you can choose to restrict the seat to all or a single category:

- Permitted Group(s): Select one or more groups to restrict the seat to.

Seat Settings - Remove Restrictions Based on Time
You can allow all users to reserve a seat for a set number of days, regardless of any restrictions you have in place for permitted reservers, departments, or groups.
For example, if you set Days within Allowed to 1, then today and tomorrow will be open for anyone to reserve the seat. Reservations for dates beyond this window will still follow your configured restrictions for permitted users.
- Select the seat you want to update.
- Go to the Seat tab and ensure Seat Usage is set to Reservable.
- Click the Restrictions tab.
- Check the box next to Remove Restrictions based on Time.
- Enter the number of days you want the restrictions removed (e.g., entering
0
removes restrictions for today only). - Save the map to apply your changes.

Seat Settings - Convert to Owned Reservable
- Seats must be currently assigned to occupants.
- Select the seat of interest that is currently set as Assignable.
- Locate the Seat tab.
- Click the Reservations tab.
- Select the Convert to Owned Reservable button.
- This will automatically convert the usage type of the seat from Assignable to Reservable, and the occupant that was previously assigned to that seat will be set as the only permitted reserver for that seat.
