View Seat Information Edit Seat Information Add Seat Features Add Seat Image Seat Calendar

View Seat Information

Seat information includes details like seat name/number, location, seat type, and image. To view this information, follow the steps below. Note: Scroll down for further instructions on how to edit this information.

  1. Navigate to the Locations tab.
  2. In the top menu, click Manage Seats.
  3. Select the seat you would like to view, and click the Edit Seat icon. A popup box appears:

Edit Seat Information

To update seat information, seat features or images follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Map Editor tab.
  2. Open the desired map.
  3. Click on the desired seat on the map.
  4. In the menu to the right, update any information within the Name, Extension, Type, Department or Usage fields. 

Add Seat Features

To add seat features, such as equipment and accessibility options, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Map Editor tab.
  2. Open the desired map.
  3. Click on the desired seat on the map.
  4. Click on the Seat Features button.
  5. Click on each feature the seat contains.
  6. Click Save to finalize.

Add Seat Image

To add a seat image, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Locations tab. 
  2. In the top menu, click Manage Seats.
  3. Click the Edit Seat icon.
  4. Click Load Image.
  5. Select an image from your device and upload it. 
  6. Use the rotate buttons or the crop box to customize the look of the image. 
  7. Click OK to add an image.

Seat Calendar

The Seat Calendar allows Maptician to sync calendar events between Maptician's internal reservation calendar and an external calendar, such as one in Outlook. This sync may be set up as unidirectional or bidirectional based on your organizational needs.

Note: External calendar sync must be enabled in the environment for this feature. For assistance enabling this functionality, please contact your Maptician Implementation or Client Success Manager.
