How do I make a seat reservation?

There are multiple ways to reserve a seat in the system. This training specifically walks through how to reserve a seat via the Seat Status widget on the Home page.

Add the Seat Status Widget Reserve a Seat Removing a Reservation

Add the Seat Status Widget

If you do not see the Seat Status widget, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and then click on the Seat Status widget so it is blue. This indicates the widget is now visible on the home screen.


Reserve a Seat

Maps within the software are interactive and clickable. The color-coded key to the left of the map indicates which seats on the map are available for reservation. 

  1. Once the Seat Status widget is visible on your home page, click into the map on the section where you'd like to reserve a seat. The map opens zoomed into this seat/location. Note: The map should be pre-set to your location, but you have the option to select a different location from the drop-down menu located above the map.
  1. Click on the seat you wish to reserve. Then click on the blue Reservation Calendar button to the right of the map. 
  1. Within the reservation calendar, indicate the date and time of your reservation. You can click and drag to designate date/time directly on the calendar or you can use the Start Date/Time and End Date/Time fields to the right of the calendar. Once the reservation date/time is set, click the green Reserve Seat button. Note: If your organization has Calendar Sync enabled, a calendar invitation confirming your reservation will be sent to your email address.

Removing a Reservation

If you no longer need your seat reservation, you can cancel your reservation at any time. To cancel an existing reservation, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Seat Status widget.
  2. Click on the seat you previously reserved.
  3. Navigate to the date of your reservation on the reservation calendar.
  4. Click on the date/time of the reservation.
  5. Click on the red Cancel Reservation button. If your organization has Calendar Sync enabled, you will receive an email notification for your canceled reservation.
