A Smoother Quick Booking Experience on Mobile
When booking through Quick Booking on mobile, choosing things like your office or floor now opens a full, scrollable screen instead of a small, cramped list, making it much easier to find and select the right option.
We also improved how presence status is shown. The colored dot that shows where someone is or their current status is more reliable now, and if someone hasn't set a status, it correctly shows as gray instead of green.
Know Before a Scenario Cancels Reservations
When you implement a map scenario that changes a reservable room, such as deleting and redrawing it, you'll now see a warning before anything happens. It names the affected room and how many existing reservations would be canceled, with the choice to Cancel or Confirm before proceeding.
If you're implementing in Inactive Mode on a currently live map, the warning also lets you know the entire map will be deactivated. Canceling stops the scenario from implementing, so no reservations are affected, while a scenario that doesn't change anything on an already-inactive map implements normally without any warning.
Bug Fixes
- On tablet devices, the Permission Groups screen could leave background toggle buttons undimmed behind the side nav modal, and nested permission checkboxes could appear unchecked. Tablet detection is also corrected so real tablets are recognized properly while 2-in-1 laptops stay in desktop view.
- Editing an entire recurring series could wipe out the service request data on its individual occurrences when the series' master reservation had no service information of its own, most commonly with Outlook-synced series. Editing the full series now preserves each occurrence's existing service details.
- In the Outlook add-in, adding a Maptician-only resource alongside a synced room never showed a Services panel for it. Each resource now gets its own independent panel.
- The assignment change log could show parking, locker, and asset assignments as removed even when nothing had actually been removed. It now reflects only assignments that genuinely changed.
- The "You are here" label on lobby signage displays could get clipped at the top under normal browser zoom. It now displays fully regardless of zoom level or how many maps are configured.
- Editing an all-day, multi-day reservation on a Microsoft-synced room, for example extending its end date, could appear to save successfully in Maptician but fail to sync to Outlook, causing the change to silently revert by the next morning. These edits now sync to Outlook correctly and no longer revert.
