Adding a New List Entry Step 1: Open Environment Settings Step 2: Add a New Entry Verifying Your New List Entries

⚠️ IMPORTANT

Only Account Admins can manage customizable lists within your Maptician Environment.

 

Adding a New List Entry

The steps below apply to all six list types (Assets, Parking, Lockers, Rooms, Seats, and Skills). Use these steps anywhere you need to add a new entry to a customizable list in your environment.

Step 1: Open Environment Settings

  1. Log in to your Maptician environment as an Account Admin.
  2. Click the settings button (gear icon) in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. From the left side of the settings pop-up, select the Organization Tab > Lists, then select the list type you want to customize.

Step 2: Add a New Entry

  1. From the selected list's settings page, click the Add button.
  2. Fill in the required fields for the new entry.
  3. Click Save Changes to add the entry to your list.

💡 TIP

Repeat these steps for each entry you want to add. You can switch between list types in the same settings popup without closing it.

 

Verifying Your New List Entries

After saving a new entry, it will appear in the list's table on the same settings page. From there, you can confirm the entry was added successfully and continue adding more as needed.
