Configure Badge Print Settings
Accessing Badge Print Settings
- In Maptician, navigate to Locations > Manage Locations.
- Click on the location you want to edit, then click the Edit button.

- Go to the Badge Print Settings section.
Understanding Badge Print Settings
Print Preview: Displays how the badge will be printed based on the settings configured below.
Badge Design: Select your preferred badge design.

Visitor Details
- Show visitor image: Prints the visitor’s profile image on the badge if one is uploaded.
- Show visitor name: Displays the visitor’s name on the badge.
- Show badge number: Prints the badge number if one is configured for the visit. If no badge number is configured, the space will remain blank.
Company Details
- Show company logo: Displays your company’s logo on the badge (recommended only if a logo is uploaded in your environment).

Show Wi-Fi info: Prints the location’s guest Wi-Fi name and password for visitor convenience.
- The Guest Wi-Fi information can be managed in Manage Locations > Edit Location > Information.
- Show office name: Displays the location’s name on the badge.
Meta Info
- Show host name: Displays the host’s name configured for the visit.
- Show arrival time: Displays the visitor’s arrival time.
- Show purpose of visit: Displays the visit purpose if one is configured. If one is not configured, this section will not appear on the printed badge.

Saving Your Changes!
After editing your badge printing settings, click the Save Settings button to ensure your configuration is saved for that location.

Printing a Visitor's Badge
- In Maptician, navigate to Visitor Mgmt > Manage Visits.

In the Visitors column:
- Click the visitor’s name if the visit has a single visitor, or
- Click the number displayed if the visit has multiple visitors.

- In the Visitor List pop-up, find the visitor and click the Print Badge button in the Actions column.

Your browser’s print dialog will open.
- Ensure your badge printer is connected and recognized by your computer.
- Select your badge printer.
- Begin printing your visitor’s badge.
Troubleshooting
After clicking the Print Badge button, if you see a blank page, go back into your Badge Print Settings and re-save the current settings you have configured, even if the location is using the default settings.
