Set a Default Dashboard for a Permission Group
ℹ️ NOTE
This does not overwrite the dashboards of users who have already modified their own dashboards. It can take up to a minute for the widget layout to appear on a user's dashboard.
Account Admin users can set a custom default dashboard for each permission group. You build the dashboard once on your own Home screen, then copy it to the permission group you choose. Maptician takes a snapshot of your current dashboard and applies it as that group's default widgets.
- Set up the widgets on your Home dashboard exactly as you want them to appear for the permission group.
- Click the gear icon at the top of the screen, then go to Environment > Default Dashboard.
- In the Permission Group to Set the Dashboard for dropdown, select the permission group you want to update.
- Click Copy Current Dashboard.
💡 TIP
To update a group's default later, change your own dashboard and click Copy Current Dashboard again for that permission group.
